I know I want to grow peppermint(for the oil) and aloe vera(for the gel)
What else should I use. I want to all be organic and the fertiliser needs to be organic too, Do you know a good fertiliser?
What plants should I grow? (I need some for colds and headaches)
Where can I buy seeds? and how should I care for my garden?
Can I leave it outside, water it everyday and use fertilizer and let nature do the rest?
i live in Nevada. I have no clue whatsoever on how to take care of a lawn let alone plant flowers but i know i want to learn being this as our first house with a backyard.
Pretty decent size i’d estimate around 25×15. The grass is totally dead (if any at all) at the moment but the owners are planning on resodding it for us.
So any tips or websites on how to care for it and what types of flowers to choose for Nevada’s climate.?? Really want something low-maintenence.

I am the maid of honor and have been asked for help by the bride. Due to family politics, a 3-year old girl will be in the ceremony against the bride’s will. She does not want flowers thrown, but doesn’t know what else to have the little girl do. The wedding is a Caribbean destination wedding on the beach. Any suggestions?
If you just buried a banana peel, apple core, the center of the corn cob, orange peels and etc in a vegetable garden, would it decompose? How long would it take to decompose? Would it start to smell bad and attract more bugs than there already is?
I want to know if there are conservatories/botanical gardens in Mississippi that display plants from around the world. It seems that many of the gardens in Mississippi have local plants, not exotic plants as in many of the areas in the US.

I got a bit ahead of myself and purchased tomato plants to transplant into my garden. I did some research and found out it is not recommended to plant in our area before May 15th (today is April 21st) due to frost. How can I keep the plants healthy indoors? Will I need to put them in bigger pots or will they do ok in what I purchased them in?
I want to plant flowers at my fiance’s gravesite. It is a private, family cemetery so there are no restrictions on what I can plant, but I want something that looks pretty and will come up every year. I live in Ohio – I don’t know what planting zone that is in. Are there any types of flowers that I can plant this late in the year? I want to plant a mini rose bush but don’t know if it’s too late in the year. I would need something that can tolerate full sun and doesn’t need watering every day.
I am interested in starting an organic food garden. Can I use the seeds already in the fruit that I buy from the store in order to start growing them or do I have to go buy seeds?
I had them last year in my garden and I can’t remember what those flowers are called. I’ve also seen them with orange petals and purple centers. They kind of look like shasta daisies. The one thing I know for sure is that it’s not a cone flower.
they aren’t gerberas, cause they don’t come like that
I would like to have electric power in a garden shed located 100 feet from the house.

I’ve been planning on having a vegetable garden this summer I had one last year and it turned out ok except for some veggies. I need some advice from someone who has had a veggie garden for a number of years, or even just a casual gardener. And what veggies or fruits are good for your health in that they fight off disease?
10 points for anyone that can give a good educated answer
I have multiple plants in my office right by a window which gets little direct light.
I have 2 kinds of spider plants, multiple bromileads, and some ivy. The spider plants and bromileads aren’t doing better than "OK". The tips of the leaves keep whithering and dieing off. What am I doing wrong?
I mist the bromileads daily and water the spider plants 2-3 x a week (it’s really dry here in the office). I lightly fertilize 2-3x a month. Any advice?
Does anyone else have any ideas?
