We don’t have a lot of money for our wedding invitations and want to make them ourselves. I have a lot of pressed flowers, all set to go, but I don’t know how to glue them on to paper as part of the invitations. And after they’re glued, do they need to go in some special envelope or plastic casing so the flowers don’t come off? What other things do I need to do to make them look nice? Thanks for any help!

I would like to take the star decorating tip and make single flowers from powdered sugar frosting. Let them dry out, so they can be handled with out breaking them, then put them on top of each piece of cake I am serving as it is being served. Is it possible to make these from this type of frosting? How far ahead of time can I make them? How long will it take for them to dry? How do I store them?

I bought some hanging baskets in May but all the flowers are more or less dead now as I didn’t water them enough. What sort of flowers can I put in them now that will last a while?

My friend’s yard supports plants and flowers very well. However, when planted near the well-head they die off like nothing.

I’m wanting to make my own natural everyday perfume so I’m looking for a nice smelling plant I can use. I don’t mind if it’s the leaves, or the flowers, providing it will grow in a humid climate, not require a huge amount of maintenance, smell nice, and grow fast enough that it doesn’t matter if I’m frequently picking the leaves and flowers.
Any ideas?

Hello everyone!
I’d like to send flowers to Bulgaria and, while searching on the Internet, there are apparently many websites that do this. However, I am not entirely sure if I can trust all of them.
Thus, I’d like to ask if there is anyone who can recommend a website to send flowers to Bulgaria and be sure they will not rip me off.
Thank you in advance!

I want some pretty flowers in my living room, and the area doesn’t have a lot of sunlight for the majority of the day, with a mild temperature. Any types of low-maintenance flowers you know of fit these terms?

I’m going on a four hour trip with a friend of mine tomorrow and we’re driving back to her house–thing is, I have a bouquet of flowers saved for her birthday and want to give them to her when she picks me up. Would they be okay sitting in the backseat in the heat, or what kind of measures should I take to keep them from getting ruined during the drive?

My flower bed is shaded in the AM and then gets the hot sun in the afternoon. The overhang from the house prevents the rain from really soaking the area when it rains and to water the plants I have to carry the water. (no outside water source) I need some type of flowers that can tolerate some dry conditions and the hot afternoon sun. Oh- I live in the Ft.Wayne, Indiana area.

Like before I go on a date, I stop by a cemetery and pick some flowers to give to my date. Some people might think it’s wrong but I know almost everyone does it.

I have small backyard I share with my nature-loving daughter. There are old rusty pipes that are too heavy and too deep to remove, so I covered it with a large pile of brush and cane. It is along a fence in a grove of young trees so underneath the pile is a mass of tree roots. I’m planning to put a mound of soil over it about 5 or 6" deep to hide it. My daughter suggested it would be a nice place for a fairy garden but I wonder, if I plant perennials or flowers that will attract butterflies, will they thrive in such conditions? What plants could I use?
It’s a fairly sunny area and I live in zone 5 in New Brunswick, Canada. So, a very short summer and very cold long winters.

I have a bed that gets sun for most of the day even in winter, and has good soil.
But when it gets cold, everything in the bed dies off and it looks ugly and depressing.
Can you recommend some brightly colored flowers that will bloom through the cold months? They can be either annuals or perennials.

I want to add a little color to my front yard. Just some simple plantings around three mature trees. They have already been mulched around. Across the street from me is an open farm field, so this area is prone to be quite windy. I live in the Chicagoland area. Any suggestions for some hearty flowers that can withstand the elements?

I know there are a lot of flowers symbolic of the virgin mary, but which ones would be good for a partially shaded garden on the Mississippi Gulf Coast? Preferably perennial ones and a combination of flowers so something would be in bloom almost all year. Any suggestions?
