Thanks to all the people who helped me with my last question about medical herbs.
But now i want to start a small garden in my room.
My room is small but roomy it has white walls and a window seal large enough to set a small plant on it.
(I watched a video and he said that white walls and windows help…?)
Any ideas on how to start it??
My main questions are:
What type of light i need?
What plants can i get in Kentucky
Where could I find any supplies for it?
Any answer is greatly appreciated:)
Thanks.

I have had a quote for feather edged fencing to be put in my garden. The fencing required is 14 square metres. The landscaper wants to charge me £650 to supply and fit. I thought it would be about £400. Seems steep to me. Just wanted to know what others think before I get it done and should I be looking to pay prices like this
Also He gave a quote to have decking done for £1995 for a area 9×5 square metres. He said to lay a cheap slab patio would cost more than £2000. My garden isnt hilly theres a small patio there at moment very old but sound and the rest is grass. Im not sure to go ahead.

My garden has recently been covered with hard landscaping in the form of pea grit for easy maintenance. Unfortunately, now the local cats seem to think I have supplied a giant litter tray for their use. I don’t own a cat and I’m getting quite annoyed having to clean up their droppings! If anyone can advise me of an effective way to stop the cats doing this in my garden, I would be most grateful.
ONLY serious answers please. Thank you.

Isn’t it time for an OMNISEXUAL sexual preference on those HTML forms??

A garden supply store sells two types of lawn mowers. Total sales of mowers for the year were 79.70. The total number of mowers sold was 30. The small mower costs 9.99. The larger mower costs 9.99. Find the number sold of each type of mower.
I need explanations not necessarily answers. Thanks.

I’m doing an extra-credit presentation on this military disaster, and I’ve already tried wikipedia.org. Specifically, I need troop numbers, commanders, supplies, and a time-line of the battle. Please, if you know of any good sites with this kind of information, post them. Thanks.

My house is TINY (900 sq ft). We have two bedrooms and a total of three closets in the entire house. I know shelving is the obvious answer, but it is really expensive to buy quality shelves, not to mention a pain in the rear to hang them. I bought a big plastic "book shelf" for the utility closet. I put gardening supplies, paint & painting supplies, board games, paper towels, tools, etc. in that closet. Now I still have tons of stuff and not enough room. All of this is stuff that I want (Christmas ornaments, Christmas dishes, seasonal wreaths, winter clothes, etc.).
What are some good ideas that could possibly utilize things I would normally throw away?
We just bought this house (our first house) three months ago. We are not moving.
It is a townhouse the HOA does not allow sheds =(
And like I said, I’m looking for STORAGE SOLUTIONS. I’m not asking you to tell me to throw things away. I’m not a pack rat by any means.

I trully love being outside and around plants. I’m a Biology(Botany) Major and looking for a job this summer when I go home, other than fast food. I wouldn’t mind working for one of the plant vendors(greenhouses) that supply but I don’t know how to go about applying. I live in North Carolina and the biggest vendor I know of is Metrolina Greenhouses. Thanks.

I think I have spider mites on my plants, I noticed my rose leaves were getting speckled, I thought it might have been due to cold (they are indoor plants but the room they are in can get a little cold) so I moved it somewhere warmer, but within about two weeks all the leaves just fell off. I’ve noticed tiny webs on some parts and little orange coloured things I’m assuming are eggs – I have also seen what looked like a tiny white/green coloured spider, barely visible. My peppers are going the same way, the leaves have big black blotches on them with yellowing around the outside and are starting to die at the edges and fall off.
I tried to get some sort of insecticide or something, but the store has moved out all of its gardening supplies to make room for Christmas decorations and there is no where else near by that sells gardening supplies. My rose really has taken a hell of a beating in a very short space of time, it is a very pretty little rose that’s been flourishing up until this point – any way I could save it?

My Greenhouse class has a project to built our own hydroponics gardening system. The teacher is going to need a list on what to purchase so we can make our systems. My system is a Multi Flow system that grows four pots of plants. I plan it to be around 2 – 2.5 feet long so it doesn’t take much space.
What kind of supplies and equipment do I need to make one of these? I don’t need a website just a list. Also, my teacher is going to shop at an Agway and I don’t know if they have the stuff I would need.

When someone knocks on your door or enters your garden, they are usually challenged to explain their presence on your property.
They remain there with your invite and approval.
This would be tested if they suddenly starting killing your family and uprooting the flower bed and cutting your water and electrical supply.
Would you ask them to leave and cross them off your christmas card list???

I have worse long shore snakes clammering to end my life. Words tonight are a glimpse of chode bearing site opossums. If the globe snipers proliferate suddenly into basket weavels, then how can i break the job supply horn fizzles? what will become of my utopia triangles if snapple rings deliberately foam garden variety toll road bone typists? perhaps i will give vicodin to your homework and cheese your doorbell inside beef curtains of hind shy developments. Training bras? cotton yorkies? no, i think slap dimebags and toering sauce will do. jetski the wavy nips and have my ron jeremy sandwich ready when i juice your sister.
