I would like to plan a trip to Bush Gardens but I keep seeing ‘SeaWorld’ mentioned everywhere? Are Bush Gardens & SeaWorld in business together? I need to know because I do NOT support SeaWorld one bit and if me going to Bush Gardens gives SeaWorld money or support I will go somewhere else.

I’ve tried repellents, both commercial and homemade varieties and don’t want to resort to using my.22 . Fencing is not a viable option either. Any suggestions ?
While I appreciate the suggestions a cat is not possible as the garden is at a school. I’ve tried the hair trick in many forms to no avail and am willing to try the other mixture suggested but fear it is just another variation on a theme which has yet to work for me.

We just got blessed by MIL with a rototiller
so we don’t have to hand shovel our veg garden and
new flower bed
my question is what do we add to the soil
peat moss and top soil, or black earth or triple mix
or some or all ?

Winter is a much needed "sleep time" for the trees, grass and other wonderful plants and greenery that enrich the soul, but I’m getting restless and want to start diggin up the garden! Unfortunately, it’s still buried under about 6" of snow:(
Anyone else planning and dreaming of their beautiful summer garden?
So seeing I can’t dig, I’m plannning & re-planning!

I am looking for what the hard packed light brown colored walkway material is called. Its used in garden pathways normally. Its like dirt but doesn’t kick up and is almost sort of sandy.
Thanks!

Now that Annheiser-Busch, the owner of Busch Gardens, has been purchased by the European brewer, Inbev, what do you think will be the fate of Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Busch Gardens in Tampa, and the Sea World parks. Apparently, InBev is not interested keeping them.

I would like to know how many people actively garden in the US. It can include flowers but I am mostly interested in vegetables and herbs. I would also be very interested in any resources or websites I could go to find more detailed statistics on this topic. Thank you.

I’ve been looking on Google Streetview at residential areas in cities such as London and Coventry. As it turns out, many people have removed the walls of their often very small front gardens and concreted/cobbled over the space so that they can park their cars(s) on it. Is there a reason that they don’t want their cars parked on the street. Is it a lack of parking space?

During WW2, people in America and Great Britain grew gardens wherever there was a patch of open ground. That included openings in the side walks and between buildings downtown and uptown. With the current food prices the way they are, do you think this old solution might help? Would you like to see this happen?
They were known as "victory" gardens during WW2. They were ultimately 1/4 of the food supply during the time when food was rationed for the war effort. That was during a time before protesting and such.
