In the garden-Elvis Presley
Lyrics (words & music by ca miles) I come to the garden alone While the dew is still on the roses And the voice I hear falling on my ear The song of God discloses And he walks with me And he talks with me And he tells me I am his own And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known He speaks and the sound of his voice Is so sweet the birds hush their singing And the melody that he gave to me Within my heart is ringing And he walks with me And he talks with me And he tells me …

well said ilililhy. Amen.
Heaven is real just as Hell is a real place,Heaven is for eternity forever and ever, salvation is a free gift to all mankind and all we have to do is accept jesus christ as are lord and savior. but some refuse because of the hate and bitterness and sin in their life.
was he born again?
There is NO way for another human being to know if another person is saved……going to church does not save an individual……saying a prayer does not save an individual….in the end…we are all at God’s mercy
Yes, there is a way we know that a person is saved. The Bible says: If we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that God has raise Jesus from the dead we are saved. Religiousness has stopped people all over the ages from experiencing the blessed love of Jesus. Do not grive the Holy Spirit touch not God’s Anointed and do them no harm. In all our greatest attempts we all fall short … it is only the blood of Jesus may you all be as open to confess Jesus as this man we called Elvis.
What a handsome guy he was back then
My grandfather’s favorite. I miss you Papaw.
Everytime I hear this song I miss my mom..I can still see her putting the record on the Hi-fi..while I was on the couch falling asleep..Thank you
My dad sung this at his own funeral and my grandma’s funeral. My dad died when I was 10. He sung all 3 verses of the sung. I get very emotional whenever I hear this song.
For a man who is forgiven for much is also the more thankful for much forgiveness, and the more grateful and humbled he becomes
Very well said.
I prefer not to think I know what God’s plan is. I find it rather presumptuous and a bit blasphemous.
He was born on January 8, 1935. The problem with born-again Christians is they are more annoying the second time.
But for the vid..awesome! Love the song and Love the guy. Died too early, but he sure did know how to sing. This is one of my fav songs!

But many people don’t care what you have to say. What makes Christianity more valid than any other religion? Btw, I AM Christian.

this hymn is so soulful and soothing – we go to Him He is always there for us — so beautiful makes me cry that God is so wondrous
I have never heard a more beautiful voice.
My friend, all religions cannot lead to the same God because they each make mutually exclusive truth claims. For example, Islam says Jesus is not God, he is not the son of God, and he never even died! Christianity says Jesus is God and the Son of God, and He died to pay our sin debt, and Buddhism says there is no god! Now all of those views cannot be correct at the same time; they can all be wrong, but they cannot all be right, so you have to examine each based on the evidence.
You’re a bit confused. Think of it this way. Some call George W Bush stupid. Some call him genius. Some say he is the best president. Some say he was never president. Different views, but it’s all the same guy.
