What impact will this dust storm have on our gardens?

Is the dust storm in NSW good or bad for our gardens? Should I give the garden a good water when it’s all settled down or will it act as a fertiliser?

the thing will be to get the coating off the leaves of any plantsand petals of flowers, that are important so the plant can interact with the light properly. Basically the dust is unlikely to have much affect on plant life unless it was super thick. Not so good for commercial gardens.
im guessing they will dry up quick its best to water them now
my mum is a really good gardener she with me now so hope i helped
Not much, maybe dump some new top soil from out west, you can thank the farmers for it
I think a light hosing down of the garden would be good after the dust settles. I don’t think it will act as fertiliser.
We get pretty regular dust storms in the South Plains area of Texas, and my only gripe against them (as far as the garden is concerned) is all of the grass and weed seeds that tend to blow in. I live on a corner lot, so I get whatever blows up the alley across from me. I have a six foot fence, but it just blows right on over.
A good watering will dust things off nicely.
